Founded in 1950, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) is a post-telecom university deployed and constructed emphatically by Chinese government. With the full sponsorship from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and Chongqing Municipality, the university is a multidisciplinary teaching and research institution that plays a leading role in the field of information communications. The university is located in Chongqing city, southwest of China. Within 70 years, CQUPT has cultivated over 130,000 specialists in a variety of fields, and has won national technology innovation awards in the field of information industry and is the national model base of advanced technology industrialization.
