The main campus, in the Pudong New Area, is located in the Shanghai International Medical Zone, creating excellent opportunities for ongoing cooperation in teaching and research and development between SUMHS, enterprise partners, and other universities. More than 30% of the faculty are professors or associate professors, and the school also includes instructors recognized by the national government as Orientalists, Pujiang Scholars, and Dawn Plan and Phosphor Plan Experts.
