Accommodation is the cost that quietly breaks student budgets in China — it is paid up front, every year, on top of tuition. This intake in Guangdong removes that line entirely: the dormitory fee is ¥0 for all four years of the degree, and tuition itself drops by more than half.

The programmes
Two English-taught bachelor's majors, four years each:
- International Economy and Trade. Guangdong has led China's provinces in foreign trade for decades; studying trade here puts the subject on your doorstep, not in a textbook.
- Computer Science and Technology. A standard, solid CS curriculum taught in English.

Eligibility
- Age 18 to 25 with completed secondary education.
- You can apply from any country — where you are located during the application does not matter.
- Prior time in China is fine: the intake explicitly accepts students who have been to or studied in China before.
How payment works — read this before applying
The sequence has one step many applicants meet for the first time here. After your documents pass the university's initial review, you pay a ¥2,000 deposit that locks in your place and the scholarship. The rest of the first-year tuition is due only after the university issues your JW202 form — the official invitation an embassy requires for the X1 study visa.
Approval first, small deposit second, balance after the visa paperwork exists: that order protects both sides and is standard at Chinese universities. We accompany each payment and check the bank details against the university's written offer, so nothing is transferred on the strength of a chat message.
The deadline
Applications close on 30 September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake. The slowest documents — the non-criminal record certificate and the physical examination form — take one to two weeks in most countries, so the file needs to start moving now, not at month's end. Why Guangdong
It is China's economic heavyweight province — Guangzhou, Shenzhen, the ports and factories that move a large share of world trade. For a student that translates into a subtropical climate with no real winter, low everyday costs, and an internship market few regions can match, especially for a trade or CS profile.
